Indy Winter Farmers Market Vendor: Dickinson Woodworking

Every week during the Indy Winter Farmers Market season, we'll be profiling one of our local vendors! You can find the full list of IWFM vendors and past profiles here.

Dickinson Woodworking, 5th season at IWFM
Located east of Indianapolis in Greenfield, we produce handmade kitchenware from local Indiana hardwoods. Whenever possible, we use wood from our own sawmill, which we use to process storm-damaged and removed residential trees.

Most popular item?
Spoons are always popular. Everyone who cooks needs a spoon, and our customers are always telling us how much they love our spoons for being ergonomic, durable and effective. They don't look too shabby either!

Why should people shop at the IWFM?
The IWFM represents a wonderful array of vendors who you can get to know and be more connected to, and who offer the best-quality products and food. Having a more personal relationship with who you buy from can give you confidence in what you buy and eat.

What do you buy at the IWFM?
My favorites are carrots and apples, and I like to stock up on honey from Wildflower Ridge. The meats I have purchased have been of amazing quality. I was outside grilling a bison steak from Circle L Bison once and a raven came and stole it off the grill! I was upset to lose the steak, but that raven sure had a good meal!
